General Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, or by placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Returns & Refunds Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; changes are posted here with a new date, and an order is governed by the terms in force on the day it was placed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order: a print order is a binding commercial contract, and placing one confirms that you are. If you are under 18, you may only browse this website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian, who must place any order.

3. Pricing & the 50% Advance

Booking an order: an order is confirmed by paying an advance of 50% of the order value before GST. The advance starts file checks, proofing and scheduling. Where the option is offered at checkout, you may instead pay the full amount up front.

The balance: the remaining 50% of the order value, plus the full GST on the order, must be settled before we hand the order over at our workshop or dispatch it by courier. Checkout shows both figures before you pay. The balance can be paid by payment link, UPI or cash, and a finished order is held until it is settled.

GST invoices: add your GSTIN at checkout to receive a GST invoice in your business’s name.

4. Pricing Errors & Our Right to Cancel

Prices Can Be Wrong: Our prices are generated from configurable rate tables and, despite our care, a product may occasionally be listed at an incorrect price or specification. A listed price is an invitation to order, not a binding offer, and no contract is formed until we confirm the order.

What We Do About It: If we identify a pricing or specification error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before starting production — you may either confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it. We also reserve the right to cancel any order we cannot fulfil.

Your Advance Is Returned: Where we cancel for any of the reasons above and production has not begun, your advance is refunded in full to the original payment method, normally within 5–7 working days. Our Returns & Refunds Policy sets out the full terms, including where a refund does not apply.

5. Digital Proof Sign-off & Production

Nothing prints without your sign-off: before production we send you a digital proof on WhatsApp or as a proof link (printcept.in/proof/…). A job goes to press only after your explicit approval — typing your name and confirming on the proof page, or a clear written approval of that proof on WhatsApp.

What your approval covers: it is your confirmation that the proof is correct in every detail. Please check it carefully, because once you approve it you accept responsibility for, and Printcept is not liable for (and you will indemnify Printcept against any loss or claim arising from), the following wherever they were visible on the approved proof:

• typographical, spelling, grammar or numbering errors;
• incorrect phone numbers, email addresses, web addresses, names, dates or prices;
• bleed cut-offs — text, logos or borders placed in the bleed or trim area, or outside the safe zone, and trimmed at the cut;
• defects in the artwork you supplied, including low resolution, colour-mode shifts, missing fonts or images, and layout errors.

Changes after approval: an approved job goes straight into production, so changes then need a new order. If the printed job does not match the proof you approved, we reprint it at no cost, as set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

6. Your Artwork & Intellectual Property

• You warrant ownership: by uploading or sending artwork, you confirm that you own, or are licensed to use, the full copyright and all other rights in every logo, trademark, photograph, illustration, font and text in it, and that printing it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
• Indemnity: you will indemnify Printcept against any claim, loss or cost arising from a third party’s intellectual-property or other rights in the artwork you supply.
• Our use of it: your artwork stays yours. You give us permission to reproduce it only to proof, produce and deliver your order, and to keep it as our Privacy Policy describes: in active storage for 7 to 14 days after dispatch for verification and reprints, then only as server capacity allows, and never longer than 3 years.
• Keep your own backups: we are not an archive. Please keep local copies of your original artwork; once our copy is deleted, a reprint needs the files again.

7. Restricted & Prohibited Print Content

We reserve the right to decline, cancel or stop any order we believe falls into the following, without giving a further reason:

• PAN cards, Aadhaar cards, passports, voter ID cards, driving licences, or any other government-issued identity document.
• Government certificates, seals, letterheads, stamps, or emblems, or anything designed to look like an official government document.
• Currency, postage stamps, or other officially regulated/security documents.
• Forged identities or impersonation — ID cards, visiting cards or documents in someone else’s name, or claiming an office, qualification or affiliation the customer does not hold.
• Unlawful content — anything that infringes intellectual property, or is obscene, defamatory, hateful, threatening, or promotes violence or illegal activity.

We make an exception for government documents only for an official, verifiable written order from an authorized government department, placed directly with us and confirmed by our team before production. We may report any order that appears to involve forging, counterfeiting, or impersonating a government document or official, without prior notice.

8. Website Content

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, layout, and software — is our property or the property of our licensors. You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, distributing, or modifying any part of this website without our express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

“As-Is” Basis: This website and its services are provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We make no guarantees that the website will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

No Liability for Damages: Under no circumstances shall we, our employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or business) arising out of your use or inability to use our website.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes, claims, or actions arising from the use of this website will be handled exclusively in the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana.
